Shadow Knee High Boot

I searched far and wide for a pair of mid-tone brown knee high boots that were a bit different and these were perfect. They were super comfortable straight out of the box. I typically wear a 7.5 and have feet on the wider side. The 8s fit just right. I’m 5’3” and they hit right about mid-knee.

Unsure how these ran big but it’s getting a bit difficult to purchase sizing when it’s unclear if it runs in the American sizing or another way. I’m always size 8. Most brands. So I ordered size 8. The box and boots says 38 which usually is a size 7. Can’t wear or even attempt to wear socks with these, barefoot foot wasn’t completely horrible but still snug. And they’re not leather so unsure how it would do in the long run with constant no socks, and I’m not wearing panty hose with these all the time. Wish I had a normal Nordstrom in the area and not the outlet one. Because it makes shopping more difficult when you can not try on items. Unfortunately I’ll have to return and at this point, I don’t wish to try the larger size. I’d be even more frustrated if the 9s didn’t work. Too much effort to purchase and keep returning by mail.

These are very kool looking and i wish they fit. The pics were attractive however the platform soles make my feet look alot larger than they are and i dont think ordering a half size down will make the outside sole look any smaller. The platform extends pass the foot part which gives the illusion that my foot is alot bigger than it is. Its wide enough to be comfy, however. I ordered a size 8 which is my normal shoe size but this brand runs maybe a half size larger to where my heel moves up and down when i step. So no, they are not true to size. Try ordering a half size down if you can find any half sizes, left.
