'Pickford' Sandal

I saw these on the cover of the April 2011 Nordstrom Catalog as I was pulling it out of my mailbox, fell in love, and immediately vowed to make them my own. True to my own word, I went inside, ordered them, and found them waiting on my doorstep this morning. This is my very first pair of Seychelles, and I can tell you right now that they most certainly will not be my last. Despite the fact that the heel and platform are incredibly high, they are ridiculously stable, comfortable, and easy to walk in. In fact, the very first thing that popped into my mind as I was walking around the house in them was "It should be a crime for shoes this gorgeous, and this high to be so comfortable." I wear a 5 1/2 in all sandals, and have an extremely narrow foot - I found these to be both true to size and true to width. Perfect paired with shorts, skirts, jeans, dresses...a very versatile pair of shoes. Also, the color, while listed as gold, is very neutral, and blends into your skintone, so it appears almost as a nude shade with subtle shimmer. Exquisite. Scoop these up now!

These sandals are so fun to wear and really cute. The heel is very high but they are still comfortable and pretty easy to walk around in. I LOVE them.

I love these sandals, they're very comfortable and I can easily wear them all day. The height is offset by the platform and the chunky heel which combine to give it more stability. I liked them so much I ordered 2 more pairs!

I saw these on the cover of the latest Nordstrom catalogue and couldn't stop admiring them on the model. I was even happier when I found out that they come in olive, which is the color I purchased. These are gorgeous! My concern was the high heel height. I normally wear heels around three inches so I thought these might be too high for me. However, the platform and super thick heel helps a lot. I still feel that I need some practice, but overall find them to be quite comfortable. I have narrow feet, and these fit great. Others with wider feet might find them too small.

I saw these shoes online and loved the way they looked, so I went to my local Nordstrom to try these on. I was sorely disappointed. They felt cheaply made, like they wouldn't hold up very long. Then when I walked in them, my foot was swimming in the shoe. I measure perfectly at a 7.5 with normal width (I do have a more narrow ankle and heel though) but even across the toes these shoes did not feel like they would fit firmly on my foot. I didn't bother with trying the size 7 because they really felt like they wouldn't hold up. For how much these are priced, I expected more out of these shoes. The color is beautiful and the style is nice, but they really don't feel safe on my foot.

I am a fan of Seychelles shoes,as soon as I saw this shoe online I order. Love the platform look with th espadrille heel. "
