Small Joan Leather Shoulder Bag

I have been looking at this bag for awhile and finally decided to purchase it. I love Chloe bags and I was excited to add this to my handbag collection. But all I can say about it is it’s ABSOLUTELY not worth the price. This is a cheaply made bag! The leather is low quality, something you’d expect from a $99 bag that claims to be genuine leather. The brass clasp on the front of the bag is very difficult to open, making the front pocket completely unusable for a phone, keys or a lipstick. The inside of the bag has only one pocket and it doesn’t have a zipper. And finally, the shape of the bag makes the bottom stick out from your body creating a very unflattering silhouette! Nice to look at in a photo, but function is completely lacking in this bag.

I bought this bag and took it with me when we travelled to Spain, I wanted a crossbody to keep my valuables close to me and avoid pickpockets. What I like about this bag is it’s roomy, I was able to fit a lot in the purse including a small water bottle and small umbrella. I didn’t like the zipper though cause it’s hard to zip, you have to hold the tail-end of the zipper to zip it up. Also the suede part of the bag gets discolored due to the hardware on top of it, it’s also a bit heavy on its own, plus you put your stuff in it, it gets even heavier. Overall though, it was still worth keeping since I like the size and the color.
