Inspired by the styles of California in the 1960s, each SeaVees shoe is dedicated to an influential event from that time and place. The 'Monterey' is a tribute to the Monterey Pop Festival of June, 1967—a three-day music festival that occurred in California at the beginning of the "Summer of Love".
Salt-washed canvas adds to the relaxed, vintage vibe of a classic street sneaker lined with naturally antibacterial canvas.

NYC walking
Fit true to size. Just bought these for a NYC trip. Wanted something casual, comfy but not too casual. I bought the Red Ochre which is a great color with jeans. It’s more of a burnt orange. Only when we hit 6 miles of walking did I notice a little discomfort in mid foot but really, not a big deal. Went away with putting feet up and the next day no pain until, again, we hit the 6 mile distance. All told I think I walked 21 miles in 3 days in these shoes. And my feet looked super cute doing it! ;). My converse loving daughters thought they might even get a pair.

runs small
Love the styling but these sneaks felt very snug. My feet are usually very easy to fit and I order online shoes frequently without having to return but will have to send these back.

Cute and comfy!
Was looking for an everyday, low profile sneaker in navy. These are great! True to size, comfortable footbed, all-day wearable. Lightweight, too. Wish they were a bit more navy, but comfort and style trump the color here. I also appreciated the environmentally friendly packaging. Can’t go wrong with this sneaker!

Love these sneakers!
Such a cute sneaker! Runs true to size. Very comfortable, though I have not and probably would not use these to walk any distance. Love the cactus color.

I bought the navy. It is a great denim color so goes with everything. They run a little large. I plan to buy the white next and will size down 1/2 size.
