Seamed Bodice Jacquard Gown

Fits my daughter beautifully. Love the material.

I bought this for my brother's formal wedding, where we need floor-length gowns, etc. I tried a bunch of dresses on in person at Nordstrom, and this was one of the last ones I tried. After struggling with too-long lengths, wrinkled fabric, and gaping bosoms and chests, this one fit me PERFECTLY. I do have an A-cup, so I was so excited to have something fit me so well that won't reveal my chest if I bend over or dance. In fact, the fabric is nice and thick without being too heavy or hot - so wrinkles won't be a problem after sitting; I can definitely eat, drink, and dance in this all night. The brocade fabric has texture to it and a subtle sheen and POCKETS. This maybe wasn't the most flattering dress I tried on (it's more elegant than sexy), but with so many dresses wrinkling up, bunching, and shedding threads due to cheap manufacturing these days - this one looks and feels expensive and ethereal and like it will last through multiple occasions. Being shorter than the model (5'5") - it also hits closer to the ground in a good way.
