Very comfortable!
I have heard many good things about this brand so I thought I’d give these a try since they were on sale. I am usually a 7.5-8 but I have wide feet so I sized up to an 8. Fits perfectly and no need to break these in. The straps are comfortable and doesn’t dig into my skin. I am curious, though, how the 7.5 would fit since the front strap is a teeny bit big; I worry they will loosen with wear and my toes will push through the straps. Still deciding whether to keep them…

Do not buy. Too tight and uncomfortable
I bought these shoes in both colours because I loved the simplicity, casual nature, looked easy to wear and the heel was perfect. I also love the colours and the cork. I did try them on in the store for a minute or two and quickly purchased. Then I wore one to a dinner shortly after and was in pain and discomfort the couple hours they were on. I am talking about 2-3 hours at the most. The strap around the ankle is elasticated and so tight, both my feet were swollen. I promptly went to return and the sales associate was in the process of refunding both, when I mentioned how uncomfortable they were when I wore them. He said he couldn't take that one back as they were worn. How else would I have known if not for wearing them? Mind you, I bought 5 pairs from him 2 days before! The shoes looked untouched and if I said nothing, he would have taken them back. Trying to get assistance online was no better. Be warned. Unless you have very very slender ankles, these shoes will be tight. I consider my ankles normal sized, even a little slim. What a waste of money.

squeezes ankle tightly
Beautiful shoes and so comfortable at first but then that ankle strap is so firm that when you take it off it leaves an indention. 2 hours at the most can they be tolerated. Sad because otherwise it’s a great shoe!

Uncomfortable for my feet.
I ordered two pairs of these to try the sizes, as Nordstrom had sold out in the store. I thought they were perfect for my daughter's upcoming wedding as MOB. They look cute but sadly both sizes were very uncomfortable for me. On reflection I also felt the 'cork' look wasn't quite formal enough either for the wedding. However if they had fitted, I would have kept them for many other occasions as they were good looking and versatile, and would have been great for many different occasions.
