Schott Zwiesel Vervino Set of 6 Double Old Fashioned Glasses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "The good water glasses."  That's what these Schott Zwiesel Tritan Vervino Double Old Fashioned glasses immediately became known as when they arrived at my house, perfectly packaged to protect against any possible breakage or other damage.  These are now our 'fancy' water glasses to be served to any guest.  Of course, they can hold more than water;  they are actually designed to serve Old Fashioneds, which I don't drink, but I really love the look of these simple and sleek stemless glasses.  Schott Zwiesel is known for quality, and that is amply evident here.  These gorgeous glasses are made from Tritan crystal and are basically perfect!  Clear and comfortable to hold, they have a very tiny, almost imperceptible, lip around the rim, making them a pleasure to drink from, too.  More practically, they are resistant to breakage, which just makes sense, especially for a family who will be using them for water glasses.   Could I possibly love these glasses any more?  Why, yes, as it turns out, I could!  I recently learned that they are made in Germany using only locally-sourced materials, so up to 30% less energy is consumed and significantly less carbon dioxide and nitrogen are emitted through their production, making them far more sustainable than comparable brands' products.  I love a company committed to making the future better and the Earth greener! Honestly, there's nothing I don't love about these Schott Zwiesel Vervino glasses!  Even the price, while relatively high, is fair and appropriate, in my opinion, and well worth the 6 expertly crafted glasses that make up this set.  I recommend them proudly and enthusiastically!
