Crop Leather Jacket

Beautiful jacket. Heavier than expected. I got XS and am debating sizing up. Schott sent me the spec sheet and I chose XS based on the measurements. However, the jacket I received is smaller in the shoulders and bust. My jacket measures 14" shoulders and 34" bust. The spec sheet states 14.5" shoulders and 34 1/4" bust. It fits snug and sexy and I think a S may look boxy. I am 5'2" and the sleeves end just below my wrist bone (23" from shoulder). The jacket from top of collar to hem is 21". If you want to layer this jacket with sweaters then size up but if you're buying it for fashion purposes order your normal size. I don't plan to wear it zipped but can zip it fine with a tank top or thin shirt. Schott customer service said the leather will break-in over time in the arms and shoulders (loosen up) but the leather will not stretch. You will just have more freedom of movement in those areas.

You can’t go wrong with the company that invented the moto jacket. The quality is impeccable. So happy Nordstrom finally carries the women’s jackets. They needed to step up their game when it came to leather jackets. I was beyond excited to see this and hope they expand to add more styles! I don’t ride a motorcycle, but I can see why so many riders wear Schott. It’s not just for the OG moto look. It’s also incredibly durable. I intend to pass this onto my daughter one day. The longer I wear it the better it fits!

This is the ultimate classic moto jacket - because it is the original. Soft, supple, but still heavy. I ordered in both Medium and Small for fit - Small was much better in the shoulders. I'm 32DD, so it's a little snug zipped up, but I pretty much only wear it open anyway. I can already tell I will wear this for years.

In terms of a cropped, stylish moto jacket, this one is perfect. Excellent quality and attention to detail. Silky lining. Hardware is pretty nice overall. Cool star detail on epaulets. Note that the belt is not removable. If you're uncertain, recommend sizing up. It runs just a bit small compared to other Schott NYC leather jackets of the same size.
