Beautiful & Minimalistic
I bought this and 2 other size small Schotts from Nordstrom. this is the one i am keeping. i am generally a size small. 5'9", 145lbs, 38" chest and 30" waist. the other 2 jackets were significantly larger. this is labeled a slim fit and think that's why it fits me so well. the sleeves, chest and body length are perfect for my body type.
the leather quality is excellent. durable but not too heavy. the black cherry is gorgeous. such a unique color. i am impressed by everything about this jacket. it is definitely an investment piece of heirloom quality.

Photo not accurate/ not what photo shows
Hello Shoppers, I purchased this amazingly beautiful Nordstrom Leather jacket made by Schott of NYC they have been in business since 1913, Thank You Nordstrom for carrying excellent products.
I had to purchase this leather jacket because of the color and shine (photo) on the Nordstrom website showing a shine and color I've been looking for However when it arrived the Jacket DIDNT LOOK LIKE THE PHOTO, it is well made would last decades, made in U.S.A. New York City and is worth every Dollar. I didn't know what to do about the jacket I wanted it but it wasn't close to the photo online,it's a darker color without any shine. It's cherry color more of a matt or flat color. I actually returned it to Nordstrom's and will continue to shop online at Nordstrom's because I've had 95% of products kept and returned 5% oh well I'll keep my eyes open for another Cherry/Red leather jacket.

Front zipper area is way too thick and bulky
The front is too thick because there are too many leather folds (zipper, front tab, pockets). Fit is slightly slimmer than expected (slimmer than other "slim" model jackets). Small is about suit size 36. Medium is about size 38. Leather texture varies a lot from jacket to jacket.

Stylish, durable & timeless
Schott NYC is the original biker jacket, so the quality is no surprise. The steerhide is thick and durable but breaks in nice, so comfort is not an issue.
I love the color and the marbling, and as the patina develops, it's sure to get better looking with age. This is a jacket that turns heads, but is functional, too, and the leather is perfect for a cool day or a truly cold day.
The cafe racer style is great for someone who wants a biker jacket that emphasizes cleans lines and minimal construction.
Would highly recommend.

Schott hits the mark! USA Made
Been looking for a quality leather jacket and Schott shot to the top of the list. Was looking for a lighter weight one compared to the Schott 530, and this one fits the bill. The leather is durable and the cut of the jacket is flattering. The fit is snug at first, but this jacket is screaming to be worn repeatedly and you can tell it will break in perfectly over time. Craftsmanship alone, this jacket is worth the cash.
