School Uniform Young Plaid Box Pleat Skirt Top of the Knee

The quality of this skirt and the material are great. However, the size charts are incorrect. Based on the size chart measurements, my daughter would wear a size 8. Because I knew from past experience that the size chart measurements were off for this item, I ordered a size 4. Even still, the skirt is too large in the waist by an inch. This has been an ongoing problem for a year or more. Please correct this, Lands End! Also, the skirt is described as "Top of the Knee." My daughter is above average in height at 5'7" and the skirt hits the top of her knee. Anyone with a shorter height will likely find that the skirt is at the knee or even below the knee and will need alterations.

I was excited to try this skirt as an affordable but quality option for the plaid skirt trend. It's short but not too short with large box pleats that held their shape during a wash. But the way the zipper is installed, there is an unattractive and cheap-looking bend/bulge so that side of the skirt doesn't hang correctly. I hoped washing would settle it out, but it is still there. Returning.
