Works
have lots of fine hair and sensitive scalp and for years used 'Scalp benefits' which worked well for me but it tended to dry my hair so I balanced it with the quite moisturising 'Shampure' conditioner. I recently tried 'Scalp solutions' and I'm very pleased. My hair looks healthier and stays looking that way on day 2 which is brilliant because I try to wash my hair every other day.

Runny like water
You hear stories about how marketing team make bigger holes in products to make it run out faster, but this is a new low - it is runny like water.
I have been a found customer for the old version of this product, and for this new product I easily use 3 times more products and still find it doesn't cover all of my hair.
The results are not as good as the old version either.
Despite all the bad reviews I thought I still give this a try, but unfortunately all the bad reviews are true.

Bring back Scalp Benefits
Scalp Benefits had been my favorite shampoo and conditioner. It doesn’t make sense as to why Aveda discontinued it. I’ve been using Scalp Solutions for a year, but unfortunately it’s not as good as Scalp Benefits. Plus, it’s not available in the 33.8 oz. option to make it a more economical choice. Until I find something else, I’ve reordered the shampoo, but have stopped using the conditioner. Aveda better start rethinking their corporate decisions, because their loyal customers will leave if they don’t.

Detox
This shampoo is an excellent detox shampoo that really helps refresh my hair and scalp. I like to use it on days when I’ve used a lot of dry shampoo, styling products, or anything that tends to build up over time. It does a great job of breaking down all that residue and leaving my hair feeling clean and light again. After using it, my hair always feels extra soft, bouncy, and full of volume without feeling stripped or dry. It has a pleasant herbal scent that’s refreshing but not overpowering, and it lingers lightly after my hair dries. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for something that deeply cleanses while still keeping your hair healthy and manageable.

Nice gentle shampoo
If you are finding your scalp is a bit irritated and grumpy this is a great shampoo to try. Even though it does smell botanical it’s not harsh and leaves your head feeling clean and not irritated. If you are looking for something gentle that still has a nice fragrance, this is worth a try.

Helps soothe the scalp
I have an oily scalp prone to sebum plugs which gets itchy. The shampoo lathers well and removes all oily build up from my scalp and all products from my hair. After using it my scalp feels cleaner and less itchy. It also helps reduce the oil so I can get longer between washes. Leaves my hair clean and soft without drying it out.

Aveda Scalp Solutions Balancing Shampoo
Got the Aveda Scalp Solutions Balancing Shampoo as part of a set and love it. Sometimes my fine hair feels weighed down and oily after a few days, and my scalp needs washing, but my hair is fine and doesn't need washing too much, otherwise it goes dry. This helps my scalp hugely, stopping that ache from oily hair but it doesn't make my hair overly dryed out. Paired with the conditioner, it's a win for me!
