Scalloped Lace Cocktail Dress

I was looking for a dress for our daughter's wedding, and loved this navy version. The lace is stretchy, comfortable, & flattering. I would highly suggest wearing Spanx underneath for a smoother all over look. I felt like this ran a bit small. I am normally a medium in J.Crew, etc. and sized up to a large, that fit perfectly.

I purchased this dress in a Medium for my daughter who is 25 years old and normally wears a Size 8 in dresses. This dress looked absolutely amazing on her. I wondered what it would look like on this 57 year old. Well, it looks pretty darn good! I am 5'4" tall and I weigh 160. The size XL worked for me. I find that Karen Kane usually runs smaller, as I can normally wear a Large in most brands. It fit well in the arms and chest area. It was a little loose in the midriff area, but it looks good and doesn't pull. It hides the bulges well and gives a smooth line. It is the perfect length for me at my age and was a little shorter on my daughter who is 5'10" tall. At her age, the shorter length looked great on her. It really is a sexy dress without showing too much of anything. The material is nice, it moves with you and is not restrictive. I can't say enough about this design. How often do you find a dress that compliments both a 25 year old and 57 year old? Kudos Karen Kane!

A lot of the reviews said it was too tight and form fitting so I ordered up one size so it would look more professional / less body con type, and its baggy in the stomach area. I should have gotten my usual size (M, 8-10). Its still wearable and I have no choice as the event is tomorrow, but I believe I'll have it taken in around the waist before I wear it again. For reference, I am 5'6", 160lbs, athletic build, 36C and the Large was a little big and the dress is very stretchy. The medium would have been perfect! The lace hits just above my knee and the dress looks otherwise gorgeous. It makes me look boxy and not as thin in the waist as I am (which no woman wants! lol)

A "10" ! Got married in this in February (in Florida) - semi formal - restaurant ceremony/event etc. I felt so good in this dress - sweetheart neckline was so beautiful, nice stretch to the fabric so great comfort all day! I got navy in Medium - 5"10" 150 pounds fit perfectly! Can wear again to semi formal event - very versatile. If you are on the fence about this - do not wait - a great dress for a great price no matter your age !

I purchased this dress for a wedding. Some thoughts: •Super comfy •Light-weight breathable fabric (much lighter than I imagined it would be) •Was worried it would be too form fitting, normally a size 10 & the medium worked out great •Has a zipper on the side, which helped with dressing / undressing •It’s all subjective of course but I thought it was priced just right based on the level of enjoyment & overall quality I received •Ease-of-care; machine wash & hang to dry I would definitely recommend. Grab some Spanx shapewear if needed.
