Beautiful but clunky

The leather and artisanship on these mules is amazing. The shoes run slightly big and possibly wide. Unfortunately this combination makes them clunky for walking. My concern is that as the leather stretches and softens, I would walk right out of them. The shoes are beautiful, just not the right "fit" for me.
