Finally! A true black brown coat with a way zipper! This a a heavier puffer coat, I anticipate wearing it a lot in Iowa winters. I’m a solid L in most coats and this one gives me enough room for a medium weight sweater without feeling too tight anywhere. Quality seems top notch.

Perfect Puffer
Love the quality of Save The Duck outerwear, and price! I purchased the Brown shade which is very rich, I tried the Black too which is also nice. I’m typically a Medium in jackets (for reference between a Small and Medium in tops)- I originally purchased the size 2 which fit perfect/snug. The size 3 is what I kept though- fits more comfortably and I can wear a thicker sweater / top underneath.

tight arms
Beautiful colors, well-constructed, but the fit was odd on me. Prob should’ve sized up. Most outerwear runs large on me. The arms were tight and my arms aren’t large. No room for thicker tops underneath.

The color!
This is my second time purchasing a puffy coat from Save the Duck. My first one is knee length and I absolutely love it. It keeps me cozy and it’s my go to for the winter. I ordered a 3 in this one because the 2 was sold out and my first coat is a 3. Interestingly, the 3 on my first coat is labeled with L only, not M/L. I’m a small to medium in tops with a broad upper back and wide shoulders that add inches and throw off my proportions for sizing purposes. But I also like to have room in my clothes; I just prefer a bigger fit usually. All that being said, the 3(M/L) in this coat fits fine! The black/brown color is so neat! It almost has a deep, rich iridescent burgundy-ish hue to it. It’s a gorgeous and unique color, even though it looks black at first look. The high collar is amazing because I find a scarf cumbersome. It’s going to be a great addition to my coat rotation.

Cute!
I am 5’0, 110lbs and I ordered the 2(M) and it was too large. I wanted to try the 1(S) or even the xs but it was sold out. It is definitely a puffy coat.
