Yuzu Vitamin C Brightening Toner

This is a really nice toner! I personally like to use it in the morning because it gives my skin a luminous finish all day long. I apply a few drops to clean skin as the first step of my skincare routine and it completely absorbs without leaving a sticky residue. It deliver a luminous, dewy finish without irritating my skin. It makes the perfect first step in any routine as it layers well and preps the skin for other products. A must for a healthy, glowy base without having to use any makeup! Highly recommend!

My skincare regime is very simple - literally soap, water, and whatever lotion I might have on hand. I do not spend money on fancy stuff and haven’t felt I needed to until recently. I am now on the sunny side of 50 and my skin cries out for some love! So here I am playing with Vitamin C products from Saturday Skin. This toner is really quite lovely. It slips on the skin like a lemon scented satin negligee. It makes your skin glow from within! I can tell that it is helping with the little clogged pores I tend to get along the side of my nose AND I swear it’s making my skin look a bit smoother and tighter. This item is packaged in a hefty glass bottle which I appreciate environmentally. My only complaint is the hole which dispenses the liquid is small so only a drop or two comes out with each shake. Otherwise I love this stuff and am going to buy again!

I was gifted this Saturday Skin Yuzu Vitamin C Brightening Toner in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love Saturday Skin's other Yuzu products so it's no surprise I fell in love the minute I saw the release! Not only is the packaging super fun and cute, as always with Saturday Skin, but it's free of all the unclean ingredients many people including myself refuse to use such as parabens, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances. The light, milky texture makes application easy as I put a little on a cotton round and gently massage onto my facial skin. It soaks right in, without haste and It's gentle and smells like a delicious lemon bar dessert. There is zero irritation and no sticky, greasy, unclean heavy residue. I love applying it after I've done some of my other daily cleansing steps as it gives my skin this beautiful boost of hydration and rejuvenation. My skin is left feeling so soft and smooth, highly moisturized, and looking brighter and more radiant than ever before and I've continued to see results!

I love Saturday Skin and have been using their gel cleanser for awhile. This yuzu toner is lovely - gorgeous high quality packaging like the cleanser, and the toner itself smells like lemon cake (but not too strong). I apply with a cotton pad and it feels easy and gentle on the skin, not sticky like a lot of Vitamin C products. I haven’t had any irritation - just a clean, brightening feeling!
