Pockets do not lie flat

Bummed. Great color. Cute cut. Soft fabric. Pockets do not lay flat and closed, and fabric is really thin and shows a lot. I don’t need the extra width in my silhouette and the thinness of the fabric just don’t work.. I’m a L or XL in Splendid bottoms. 5’3 185. Returning :-(
