The Lip Slip® Lip Balm

After all the good reviews, I decided to give this a try, but I much prefer using my go to Dior Lip Glow Color reviver balm than this. It is extremely sticky. It is so sticky that afterwards you need to use hot water and soap to get the feeling off your finger. I agree with another reviewer, that the packaging is very cheap. It's in a cheap plastic container with a gold sticker on top. It looks like a homemade product off Etsy, except 8 times the price. Not impressed with the exterior. I first used a scrub then used the balm. I only used it at night when I was going to bed because of the sticky feeling. I cannot imagine putting this on and then eating and drinking stuff. I'd think food would end up sticking to your lips as a result. Also, when it is on, I cannot even purse my lips together because the the feeling is then that of your lips being glued together. I was pleasantly surprised the next morning when my lips were pink and supple and totally hydrated. I think it works quite well, although I still prefer my Dior. I cannot get by the sticky feeling. I also think the container should include a lip brush or something. It's so unhygenic to use your fingers. Lastly, if I had known that one of the main ingredients is mineral oil, I would not have gotten it at all. Bottom line: I will continue to use this during the drier winter months, but only at night, and when I am done with it, I will not buy another one.

One of my favorite youtubers, MakeupbyTiffanyD, raves about this often. I love her and trust her word, so I decided to give it a try. I am SO dry, especially in the winter months, and the second you put this on, its instant hydration. The smell is amazing, it tastes a little sweet, and it looks pretty on the lips on its own. Idk how I ever lived w/o it!

More cons than pros for me. I would give it 2.5 stars but the system doesn't allow for half stars.

I've tried dozens and dozens of moisturizers. This one, for me, is by far the most healing and moisturizering. I use the scrub and the gloss. The gloss goes on every night and is still on in the morning. I get peeling dried lips especially in the winter. I only wish this came in a stick instead of a pot, I'll never be without it. A little goes a long way. Applying each night, I buy this once a year.

This is one of the best lip balm ou there. I have very dry lips and i have tried everything from high end to low end.. but nothing works like the lip slip. Its lightweight and smooth... stays on lips all night and is very hydrating. This is my second jar but definitely not the last.. will surely buy more..

Best little dry lip warrior! Keeps my lips so soft and moisturized. I love this product, I purchased at a spa in Las Vegas for the first time but have been ordering it ever since!
