Trench Coat

I looked at many weather-resistant coats before buying this one for my husband. Many others looked frumpy. This coat is modern, crisp and sharp looking. Nice fabric, zip out lining and many handy pockets. Be aware that this coat runs small. I had to order 2 sizes up from my husband's standard jacket size in order for him to wear the coat with a sport's jacket beneath. I gave it 4 stars because of the sizing discrepancy.

I was looking for a black, stylish, versatile, 3/4 rain coat that could be worn on all occasions, both casually or dressed up, well this is it!! This coat looks better than it appears online. My only issue is the lower half of the coat seems a little too wide/baggy, had to have it tailored. I make a lot of trips to London and Ireland where it always seems to rain. Its the perfect coat for when I'm over there. It's it also has a removable insulated shell that provides some added warmth for the colder months. I'm a size 42 R and it's true to fit. This is well constructed and designed. Quality coat!!

This trench coat is great! I was looking for a coat to wear over my suits when going to work and this fits the bill perfectly. It's the perfect weight for those days when it's cold enough to need more than a suit jacket, but not cold enough for a wool coat. The removable liner is a great feature as well so it can worn in the spring, especially when it's raining. The black color is a bit darker than it appears online, but still looks great.

Like the other reviewers, I was pleased with the overall quality of this coat. It's a conservative yet the collar has some stylistic element to it. The material is water resistant for light rain, and comes with a removable padded layer that makes it versatile for climate. I echo a previous reviewer (and like him, I give 4 stars for this reason) that the bottom half feels baggy - it's almost like a cone. Thankfully there is a clear side seam that a skilled tailor can use to remove the extra fabric for a more traditional straight cut. However, it does add cost on top of your purchase of the coat.
