These pants are sized perfectly for your actual size. Had to try on a few pairs to find the ones that fit. Then had them altered in the store for perfect sizing. The woman doing the measurements showed the measuring tape and it matched to the size on the pants. I get 2-3 sizes smaller in other brands for casual clothes. Girlfriend said that some brands put a smaller size on larger pants to make people feel better about themselves and want to buy the product. These do not do that. They are by the numbers. Super comfortable. The waist doesnt have any give, but they are still easy to move in. The pockets don't poof or at the sides showing the pocket lining like other pants. Great pants overall.

Will never shop at Nordstrom’s again. I bought dress pants that needed to be mailed to me since I don’t live near a store, with the promise to hem them when I could get to a store again. Upon visiting the store again and being measured for the alteration I was charged $24 alteration fee. I protested saying that is not what I was told when I bought the pants. The Assistant Manager was summoned and he informed me the policy had changed the week before. He should have simply honored the policy of the purchase but instead flatly said no and I would have to pay. I asked for a refund of my purchase and vowed to not shop again at a store with such terrible customer service.
