Decent boot, but appears glued
I have many pairs of Santoni shoes so I thought I'd like this as I don't have a single Chukka boot in my collection and these were on sale. On the page when I ordered Nordstrom said it was the last pair and there was something about two day shipping. I honestly don't know what they mean when they say two day shipping or what is eligible for two day shipping as these took over a week to get here. I also wish Nordstrom would put on the page where the boots are coming from. I live on the west coast, so if they are coming all the way from the east coast and take forever to get here, I'd rather pass on them no matter how good the deal is. As for the boots, I was surprised they arrived in great condition and with the shoes bags...so I'll return them the same way. I don't like the fact that these boots appear to have a glued sole and for this price, I figured they would be stitched in some manner so I'm worried about the longevity. I see there are many other American, Spanish and Italian boots on there site so may give one of them a shot. BTW, they are made in Italy and that's why the glued sole is surprising at this price. Additionally, not sure I like the color.
