Perfect for Petite!

I had a pair of Sam Edelman boots for a decade and they finally gave out last year. Searched high and low for a comfortable/low heel black boot that fit my petite frame (5'3") and bought these recently and love the fit! I haven't worn them out for a long period so really hoping they are actually comfortable but at least first impression is great.

They sold me a fake boot, twice

I got the correct boot once, but it was too big. I’m a 8.5 in street shoes and needed a 6.5 in this boot. When I ordered the 6.5, I was surprised it was a weird gray color? Looked plastic ? The logo wasn’t right ? Some return fraud was likely afoot. I called customer service, and the put a note on the return that the boot was fake. I reordered the boot, and that exact same boot was delivered to my door. Same box, same boot, exactly how I packed it the first time. Weeks wasted on this order and it was supposed to be the boot for my wedding. Nordstrom didn’t offer any compensation for the hassle. I’m so disappointed in this company. Beware of fraudulent products, and don’t expect them to do anything if you do in fact get a fake item. They don’t care and will resell it to the next customer.

Packaging issues

These are cute but I received them folded in half in a polybag, not in a box. These are still expensive enough that they should be shipped in perfect condition in a protective box. They fold over when standing up so they will be going back. So annoying @Nordstrom.

Unwalkable

I loved the look but the soles are impossibly heavy, and slippery, and they just murdered my feet. I thought I could break them in, or somehow fix with cobbling, but no. Now I’m just going to give them to charity, but I pity anyone who gets them next. :(

Uncomfortable Insole
