Penny 4 Knee High Boot

Ok, I am slightly happy with these boots. My disappointment is with the leather. First, the look is nice. It reminds me of the English or Welsh countryside boots that are worn during hunting. The ballon pants or a skinny leg with a blazer. Next, I was not sure about wide calf. I didn’t know my calf took a diet or wasn’t that big, it depends on the boot. However, why make it true to size and make a wide calf. So, are you making the boot for a small foot big calf person? I think a cartoon character. Second, the leather quality at the top is cheap and not designed with intentional. Third, you have to wear and extremely thin sock, stocking or oil your leg up and the zip. I’ll rock it for now and look for a better quality. Also, there is a slight color difference. Stop using filters.

While not my favorite boot, I like these a lot. Will look great either with a skirt or pants. I have athletic calves (15") and got the regular width and they are gappy at the top so the wide shaft is really gonna be quite wide. Also, these fit great even with my very high instep.

GORGEOUS! Rich brown leather foot and top by the knee, and beautiful suede along the shaft. Maybe slightly long, but not enough so that I should have half-sized down. Definitely a keeper!

The quality is superb.

I usually run between a 7.5 and an 8 but I went with a size 8 and this boot fits by just a hair with an ultra thin sock. So if you want a thicker sock go half a size up from your usual boot size. I wish I could have an 8.5 instead but size is no longer available. It does run a little narrow. My lower legs are on the slightly muscular side and I was worried about not getting the wide but it fit perfect. I’m 150 and 5’5”
