Gala Slide Sandal

Last years sandal (the brown ones in the photo) are better quality compared to this years (the white ones). You can see last years sandals are thicker and have more stitching. They also have a higher wood heel whereas this years have a smaller rubber heel. This years sandal runs a little smaller. I will probably send back and order a 1/2 up.

Unfortunately, my feet are too picky and these had to be returned (they were only sold online so I couldn’t try them on). They’re cute but after trying them on, the leather part hits right at the bones on both left and right side of my feet. The leather is not soft enough to even try to break them in. Plus the second leather strip is too wide and sticks out awkwardly.

I have returned the shoes. I should have known better, the shoes are not leather and plastic will never relax to fit my feet. They were slick on the footbed and not comfortable.

These sandals are a great value and the red color is pretty, classic, and vibrant. I ordered a half size up - my usual size was too short and too narrow.

My favorite SE shoe! I’m so happy the flat heal is back. The other version wasn’t as appealing as the original Gala. Thank you Sam! I guess the person who reviewed with pics is new here - the quality has actually not declined.

Beautiful sandals but the second strap is too loose.
