Medium Niki Leather Shoulder Bag

This is was, by far, my favorite to go bag, loved the style, and the different ways I could wear this bag. However, after only owning it for 7 months, and using on special occasions -maybe a total of 12 times, the bag has started to show wear marks on the corners; as shown in the picture. I’m a huge YSL fan; I own shoes, sunglasses, and just bought a bag 2 wks ago which I don’t intent to keep after this experience. Needless to say, I’m highly disappointed with the quality of their handbag materials. Planning to go back to my other designer of choices. What a bummer.....

This YSL Bag is great I own it in black and wanted it in a nude color, it was shown in 'Pebble' and 'Gold Sand' I opted for pebble because it appeared more nude and the gold sand looked like it had more taupe in it. When I recieved it I was completely shocked at the color. Nothing like it appeared online, it was like a dark mossy grey, the tag read 'Pebble'. So disappointed since both bags were offered at $1790.00. Sending it back due to this obvious gross misrepresentation of color. Nordstrom needs to get better photo's of the pebble color for online shoppers.

I’ve had my bag for about a month now and I absolutely love it!! I don’t have any issues that previous raters had; the front pocket doesn’t sag and the magnetic closure isn’t too tough. I love everything about this bag. It’s fashion forward for 2021 and super modern and sleek. I got the light grey color in Pebble and it’s exactly as pictured. It’s perfect!

I was sure to read all the prior reviews before making this purchase (my first YSL bag, I normally prefer Gucci.). First off, the color is amazing. The burgundy is more purpley than rusty or red, which is what I preferred. And the finish is pretty shiny but the texture balances the look. The strap hits nice when doubled up for the shoulder and is long enough to cross body when extended. I don’t feel like the magnetic closure is too strong, like was mentioned by a prior reviewer but I do feel it’s too small. It takes some dexterity and a few extra seconds to make sure the snap is connected and secure. It’s the main flaw and why I deducted a star. Other than that, the size is perfect and a nice plus is the exterior pocket on the backside. It’s mentioned in the description but they don’t mention that it also has a covered magnetic closure for extra security. Also, when the bag has all my contents in it (not overstuffed) I don’t feel like the flap pulls, as was mentioned by another reviewer. This is a soft sided bag and I feel that’s part of the look to have it bend and show its softness. The photos do show it very smooth and structured so that may be misrepresenting it somewhat.
