Sage Water Resistant Snow Boot (Women)

I wore these boots for the first time one day last week and yesterday because those were the two coldest days since I purchased the boots and receive the boots. I’m a school crossing guard and I live in New York City. We don’t get much snow anymore however we do get what feels like below zero weather and if you try standing out there for two hours and better you definitely will need good durable gear that’s going to protect your feet. I might have to come back next year and do an update. Also, I purchased the woman’s boots the ankle part is very tight on me. Next year I’m considering purchasing the men's version of the boot to compare. My hope is the men's boots are bigger in the ankle area. They are true to the size you might want to go up a half size if they offer it and they have this insulation inside that I believe it can withstand my New York winters my feet were warm but only time will tell. I bought this boot to use for snowshoeing and winter hiking. It was purchased in February, but due to shipping issues, I didn’t receive it until March and therefore have not used them and will wait until next year. PLEASE NOTE RE: FIT: RUNS 2-1/2 sizes small!! I wear an 8-1/2 in a boot, sometimes a 9; I ordered a 10 due to reviews saying order up a size; I had to send back a 10 due to being so small/short even without any socks. I exchanged for size 11 !! which seems to fit okay with a mid weight wool sock. I also do not have wide feet. Crazy sizing!! So if your normal size is larger than 8.5, you are out of luck as 11 is the largest women’s size. Boot seems well insulated but haven’t tested it yet.
