Ryder Suede Jacket

Obsessed wirh brown suede this season, and the jacket is even better in person than pictures! My sizing is right in between M and L. At 5’8 height, ultimately the size L felt like a beautiful oversized jacket whereas the M felt like my torso was oversized, even though both fit. The color is a rich delicious chocolate brown, the suede leather is supple, heavy duty, and so classy and fashionable. The one single flaw of the jacket is the zipper - unless the top and bottom zipper are 100% aligned, the zipper is stuck and you can’t pull it up or down. The hardware of the zipper is also prone to scratch for a jacket at this price point.

This is my second Ryder. I purchased the one last year in the NSale so I almost didn’t grab this one. I like this one better! The gold hardware pops on the chocolate suede which is so soft and luxe. It is boxy fit so I sized down to a small. The sleeves are a smidge long on at 5’4” but that is an easy alteration from Nordstrom since there is no hardware on the sleeve. Dual zipper which I always appreciate as well. This is a staple piece you’ll have for years.

Runs big -sleeves are very long -suede is gorgeous -lined -style is great -lucky for me I was able to score a size smaller -I just love this jacket and perfect for my climate year round (Central Coast of CA)

Great timeless piece for fall and winter outfits, can't wait to style it with jeans, pants, skirts, just about anything. Texas is never too cold so I think I will get a lot of wear. Small size is good enough to wear a sweater underneath, fully lined sleeves are a tad long on my arms but nothing that can't be rolled up with easy, might consider having altered but not sure I will. For reference I weigh 128lbs, and a 36 B Band at 5'2". Hits at hip bone.

Love the dark brown color and weight of jacket. I am 5’2” and weigh 140lbs. It was way too roomy the lightweight is comfortable.

I ordered the small but it’s too big. I have an x-small on the way. Hopefully it works better because it’s such a beautiful jacket. 5’1/127lbs.
