Ruched High Collar Vest

I just LOVE this violet color. In winter I usually buy the color Casis ( cassis ) in Eileen Fisher, but this year I found Violet, a shade more purple color than Cassis. So I bought this vest, a turtle neck and pants too. I usually wear LARGE in EF, but I have to return the vest and reorder a medium. I hope it will be ok. Sizes vary with Eileen Fisher, I have to try and see what size works better. I really hope they will make more items in the violet color, like dresses, and scarves, long sleeve tops, jackets, and coats!!!! .

Several years ago, I bought same model from Eileen Fisher, and at that time the quality was completely different. The vest was filled with down, it was well made, very warm and wore extremely well over time. I was very happy with that purchase. Recently, I decided to buy this vest again because the model and the pattern appear to be exactly the same as before. Unfortunately, after receiving it, I discovered that the quality has changed significantly. The new version is thin, filled with synthetic padding, and there is no down inside. As a result, it feels less warm and does not match the quality of the previous product. I am disappointed, as I specifically chose this item based on my positive past experience with this model.
