Its QuickGuard installation system offers an effortless 3-step setup. Wrapped in plush fabrics and cushioning, this lightweight seat grows with your child from infancy to early school years

Why parents will love it: It installs in seconds with intuitive, 3-step, spring-loaded lock-off doors that secure the vehicle belt without use of the vehicle's Automatic Locking Retracting System (ALR). Weighing in at just 25.2 lbs, the Rove is easily portable and FAA-certified for air travel.

Why kids will love it: The lower seat cushion fabric is easily removed for washing. Five reclining positions ensure your child stays comfortable and a removable cup holder to hold a sippy cup or water bottle. The merino-wool fabric is free of fire-retardant chemicals and wicks away moisture, keeping kids cool on hot days and warm on cool days.

so comfy

My baby absolutely loves this seat! It took a while to install right in my car specifically but UppaBaby FaceTimed me to ensure best fit in the seat I wanted it in! Absolutely love this product and all its safety features while looking glamorous and letting my baby feel like she’s riding in a big comfy couch seat.

Tripping hazard!

As you can see in the picture, the seatbelt blocks access to the seat. When my 3 year old grandson was getting out of the seat, his foot got tangled up in the seatbelt. When putting him in the car seat or he is climbing in, he has to climb around the seatbelt. I was sure I installed it incorrectly so I went to the Uppa Baby hub and had them install it. They said it is a problem but that is the only way the seatbelt can go. In my Nuna carseat, the belt is held against the seat and out of the way. I wanted to return the car seat, but only saw after I opened the box that it cannot be returned. Very disappointed in this Nordstrom policy. It was not listed in the return policy information but a sentence in part of the description. How would I know this was a problem until I opened the box and installed the car seat? I strongly suggest looking at a different carseat to purchase.

meh

I’m not sure why this seat is getting rave reviews. After the recent Nuna rava recall, I decided to give this seat a shot. Here are my thoughts— Pros; -comfortable for my three year old -good cup holder design - attractive seat Cons: -installation difficulties — it has a tightness indicator for the seat belt, but not a tightening mechanism like you find in the Nuna rava or britax seat. I’ve found that the seatbelt loosens often, which requires me to re-install the seat way more often than I would like to. -straps get twisted easily In conclusion , I wish I just purchased another Nuna rava

disappointed

I decided to try the Rove for my other car and I wish I got the Nuna Rava which I already have. There is not much difference in price but a huge difference in quality. The fabric is much rougher and the head adjustment often gets stuck. I also don’t think it seems as comfortable for my 3 year old. Overall, this was very disappointing

The best choice in car seats

I have only purchased Uppababy products because of their quality and this car seat didn’t disappoint. I’m so extremely satisfied with this car seat. The fabric is soft and the seat is super comfortable. My 2 year old loves it. He’s on the taller side and it’s a perfect fit even with facing backwards. I think the base makes it really heavy so it’s not as convenient when you live in the city and rely on rental cars but still worth it because I know he’s comfortable and safe.

Perfect car seat choice.

I’m one of those people that takes months of back and forth to decide on a car seat. We chose this car seat as a second seat for my husbands car, but love how easy it is to move to a grandparents or babysitters car. Installation was easy and feels very secure. When the seat first arrived my toddler climbed in it and snuggled in! The padding is excellently placed and truly seems so comfortable. No uncomfortable Velcro scratching their skin and the pads don’t slip around. Easy to tighten and loosen straps as well. We chose Greyson which is a merino blend cover, I love that it’s not only flame retardant free, but also seems much more breathable than typical car seat covers- my warm natured toddler never seems overly hot or sweaty when removing him. Not a down side, but one thing to note is that the merino does seem to attract pet hair easily so if that is a concern I would recommend a different cover color with a different blend. 10/10 seat, 10/10 experience from Nordstrom.
