Rosy Check 2-Slice Toaster

I purchased the MacKenzie Childs toaster from a different retailer. I received the toaster on January 29, 2026 and it is defective. The toaster only toasts/darkens one side of the bread. The retailer will not accept a return and will not replace the defective product. I contacted MacKenzie-Childs due to the 1 year warranty on the toaster and they referred me back to the retailer with the poor customer service. The retailer wants to give me $32.02 as compensation for the issue when I paid $181 for this defective toaster. I hope Nordstrom will stop selling and carrying this product due to MacKenzie-Childs' poor customer service and because they do not stand behind their products.
