Classic summer dress
This is the perfect dress for summertime, fitted but extremely stretchy/not tight, very versatile, and comfortable enough you could nap in it. I am a curvy size small and I sized down for this one based on product photos, comments on this style on Poshmark listings, and my previous experiences with smocked dresses from Dôen or other brands. I'd say this was the right choice for me. The underarm area was just a bit tight, but that feeling diminished in about 20 minutes. Because it's so fitted I think it emphasizes my stomach, which I didn't like at first, but the smocking and the pattern make that less noticable. As a body conscious person this is a touch outside my comfort zone but I think it is very modest and classy in other ways, and will be ideal for hot days.
