great backpack!

Just got to use this during vacation. Was able to fit everything I needed as a carryon bag and it was comfortable walking around with the backpack on most of the day through vacation.

Straps way too long

I'm heading to Europe in a few days and purchased this bag online for my trip. It checked all the boxes--quality, color, features. And on sale! There's only one issue--the straps are far too long. I'm a 5' 6" woman, approximately 130 lbs., and my torso is too short to accommodate the long straps. The bag sits at my lumbosacral junction and wings off my back, even with the straps tightened completely. Even with the bag empty it was uncomfortable where it touched my back and made contact with my shoulders. My husband, who is nearly 6' 3", tried it on with the straps completely tightened and it laid flat against his back, approximately 6" above where it touches my back, exactly where it should rest. I'm SO disappointed. Anyone with a shorter torso or who is petite likely won't be able to wear this bag without experiencing discomfort at the lumbar aspect of the spine. I love Tumi products, own another bag I've had for 17 years that is still in practically perfect condition. So I gave this three stars for the quality, color and features, but am disappointed by the exceedingly long straps that prevent me from keeping the bag.

stains easily

I bought this, took it on a work trip, and now there are three huge stains that I can’t get out. They look like oil stains, but nothing was spilled. I’m pretty frustrated and will likely return. (For what it is worth, I felt like the strap length was fine and I’m 5’3”).

Tumi Outlet Quality

I’ve had a Tumi Voyager backpack forever and it’s finally showing wear. It has served me so well, but I did like the open pockets on the side of this one instead of the zipper pockets on the one I already own. I like to carry a water bottle on the outside of the bag. Unfortunately, this bag quality is not the same as the other one. The zippers are clunky and very sticky. They do not run smoothly at all, which is a pet peeve of mine. It would be a really nice backpack for $100 but it feels overpriced even at the sale price here in my opinion. I’m on the fence about returning it. I saw a brand new one on Poshmark in a similar color for $100 less. The sale is just not that great of value in my opinion.

Great laptop Backpack

I was in need of a replacement for my oversized laptop and decided to give this one a try because it says it can handle most up to 16inch laptops. My Lenovo measure 15.4 inches and it just barely fits. I am petite (5'3" and 120lbs) and found the straps were comfortable and fit just fine, not too large or small once I adjusted them. I like the phone pocket which fits my Pixel 8 perfectly. The outside water bottle pockets are helpful in the airport and the interior is very roomy. The pocket to slip on luggage handles is helpful. Even at the NAS price this is not a cheap laptop backpack, but I think it's worth it. I own many TUMI items and this feels like it will last for years to come. The cadet blue is a lovely cool toned blue and a nice change from a black laptop bag. TUMI never let's me down.

This is my everything bag

I’m not kidding- I use this for an everyday work bag, and I am also pleasantly surprised how well it works for travel with how much it holds! The nylon exterior is durable and never gets dirty, and the backpack itself is light and comfortable. I appreciate the laptop pocket, side “pockets” that I use for a water bottle and sunglass case, the key lanyard in the front pocket, and ample space in the main compartment. Not to mention the “secret pocket” in the very back, which usually housed my AirPods, but can fit a passport and phone during travel. Get this bag. You won’t regret it.
