Jack Jacket

Well, I'm being honest when I say that the price is right on par with the quality; especially since it's imported "from Asia". The Rodd and Gun site has it listed for over $300 which it might be worth if it were made here in the U.S. Nevertheless l, it's not. Some key points to consider are that the zipper (which is superior quality) is a left-hander. Also, there is only one interior pocket which has a zipper, as well. The lining (in my view) is flimsy but the shell is every bit the quality that the ad claims. FYI the grey color pictured in the ad, is more of a gradient due to the wax coating. It sort of has a greenish tint in the right light. Sizing is pretty much true, but FYI it goes by extra long sizes for what I ordered (2XL). It still fits a bit snug through the middle (Not too much though). If you're going to wear anything thick underneath, I would suggest one size up, but doing so will also increase the length. In conclusion, I would go with your usual size. However, don't plan to wear it with anything thicker than a fall/winter type flannel shirt.

I really like the look and quality of this jacket!!! I'm 5'10 and 175 lbs with an athletic build and I went with size medium, which gives me a fit that you see on the models on the Nordstrom website photos. The size large was a little loose and the sleeves were a bit too long for me. The size medium measures a little over 23 inches across the chest armpit to armpit. The jacket is lined, so it's a little heavier, but you probably wouldn't wear it if temps are below 40 F. I just purchased the jacket, so I haven't had a chance to wear it outside yet given it's May and the weather is too warm, but I think this will be my go to jacket in the fall when it's cooler outside!

This jacket is exactly what we were looking for! Light to medium weight, fashionable, great color. There’s a lot of ho hum same old jackets out there for men. This one stands out! Great gun metal color, the fabric has an interesting finish to it. Very subtle coating. Breast pockets inside and out. Great details. The only thing I want to note is that it did run a little small and had to go up one size. Oh, and bonus! It was on sale!
