Bed Stu
Founded in L.A. in 1995 but inspired by the Brooklyn streets, Bed Stu handcrafts shoes and boots for women and men. The brand uses traditional shoemaking techniques like hand-weaving and hand-sewing, as well as natural leathers (from free-range animals when possible) and a vegetable-based tanning process, so each shoe is unique and imperfect but always genuine.

Grab the Bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rockaway is an all around fantastic bag. The pictures don’t do justice to the richness of the color - it’s a gorgeous deep sable color. The inside is spacious and has a handy center cloth pocket divider (perfect for smaller tech) and the hidden phone pocket is awesome even though I keep putting my keys in it and forgetting them (that’s a me thing! No shame to Rockaway!). Fantastic organizational storage. I shove my laptop, large journal and current reading materials, big wallet and everything else in it. The magnetic closure holds fast. I look stylish but secretly am Mary Poppins.
The leather is fabulous, excellent quality and craftsmanship. I am obsessed with fine leather goods and this is currently my go to grab bag.

The smell of this purse is awful!!! Paid 345. 00 and can’t use it because it has an awful smell! Not happy

We are really sorry to hear about this experience, especially since you have been a loyal BedStu customer. We understand how disappointing it is when something arrives with an unexpected odor and does not meet the standard you are used to.
Some items can occasionally have a noticeable scent due to our natural, plant based, non toxic dyes and finishes. Packaging and storage can sometimes trap residual dyes or glues while they are still curing. Most customers find that airing the item out in a well ventilated area for 24 to 48 hours helps significantly.
