JWA teamed up with Japanese artisans to turn nonstretch straight-leg jeans into a statement of heritage craftsmanship and carefully considered details—from custom anchor rivets and selvedge seams to the leather patch edged using a technique borrowed from traditional bookbinding. Each pair is hand-patched using the Boro repair method, which dates back to nineteenth-century Japan.
