What it is: This multi-effect retinal night serum uses the power of retinaldehyde to smooth skin, improve the look of fine lines and brighten uneven skin tone.
What it does: It’s formulated with niacinamide, essential ceramides, and adaptogens that help retinal work smarter, not harder to deliver transformative, clinical results faster—without the typical irritation or acclimation stages. Better than some of the pricier retinols!
I've been using (and loved - notice the past tense here!) Augustinus Bader's 'Retinol Serum' but YTTP's formulation blows it out of the water! The retinol itself is much stronger, to give you an example I can use AB's Retinol serum everyday, heavy handedly, but I cannot do the same with YTTP's. I had to build up my skins' tolerance to this one. There's no fragrance in this, you only need to use the tiniest amount, and the ingredients list is very impressive. I don't have the packaging to hand as I type, but I recall there's a specific Mushroom extract in this which I'm very sure is what's counteracting the typical retinol irritation - because my skin is responding much better than it usually does. A little redness but much less than usual. 5% Niacinamide for me, has to be the icing on the cake. I swear by this ingredient as much as I do Retinol, and both ingredients combined is a first as far as I'm aware. So what does my skin say? Truth be told the texture of my cheeks and forehead is so smooth on my 3rd week of this, it looks more even and my pores are smaller (not gone unfortunately, but noticeably more refined). Sorry AB, but this is now my new favorite Retinol: cost effective, better formulation and better results. As I've said before anyway, AB is a 'beginner's' Retinol, there's only so much it can do. Amazing!! Will never go back
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has helped clear up my acne and give me flawless skin. I’ve struggled with acne for 20 years and now no more. It did take a little bit for my skin to get used to it.

Discontinuing use of YTTP
Disappointed that YTTP discontinued the Super Foods Handwash. I loved the handwash so much I tried and loved many of your other products including this yourth serum. I do not like supporting companies who abruptly change/remove fabulous items without notice. I would rather go back to my old skincare routine where I am confident that my favorites will remain available in the future.

Actually works
I’m on my second bottle and have noticed an obvious difference in my fine lines (specifically smile lines and forehead)! I can use it daily without skin irritation. It does leave a yellow appearance upon application but that goes away overnight.

Effective without the pain
I was using tretinoin prior to making the switch. My skin never seemed to adjust to the tretinoin, despite my efforts to ramp up my usage - my face was always super dry and not looking good. I followed the instructions to use the YTTP retinol cream 1 - 2x/week and ramp up to every other day and so far it has been great and I can see almost immediate effects after applying it and when I wake up in the morning, I feel like my skin looks great. Hoping the good results continue! :)
