Resurfacing Mask

First tried this product as a sample & it gave me the smoothest feeling & smoothest looking skin I've ever had. I have acne scarred, pitted skin with large pores. At age 52 I still have the oiliness of a teenager & I still breakout occasionally. At 52 I'm also starting to see aging in my skin. Now, I've used facial mask 2x per week for years plus professional facials from time to time- but never got these results before (& I have used high-end products). Plus it's a natural product, non-drying & just seems to hit the right balance of moisturization. I'm so impressed with this product I purchased another product from the line.

I love Tata's Clarifying Mask and when purchasing it I was given a sample of the eternally popular 'Resurfacing Mask' to try out. The sample size was 3ml - just enough for a single use to cover my face and neck, whilst still leaving a small amount in the sachet to try out as a spot treatment. The mask is a gel-texture which has a peachy/pink tint and a distinctive Rose Geranium fragrance. Funnily enough it tingled within 3 minutes after applying, but only for a minute or so, after which I felt nothing at all. At just under 20 minutes I noticed it was starting to dry-out and lose adherence on certain areas of my face (chin and between eyebrows especially) and so I figured it was a good time to remove before it starts to flake off and create a mess! It does leave a slightly 'slimy' feel on the skin as you wash it off, and which took me a good few minutes to remove completely. So what did it achieve? Well unfortunately my pores were exactly the same as they were 20 minutes prior, whilst my skin on the other hand had a nice subtle glow to it. There was no other discernible difference, in texture, clarity etc. I did also use it on a couple of acne bumps overnight as a spot treatment. It helped, but the difference was not as pronounced as Paula's Choice 10% AHA or The Ordinary's Niacinamide. I received a sample of this and tried it out today. The mask is supposed to give you an instant glow and work like a peel. I've used peels and peel-like masks before. This was nothing compared to a peel. Did my skin glow? Yea right before I washed it off. I did notice that my skin was cleaner. But it didn't really have that glow that I can get with almost any other mask. I don't know what all the hype is about. It felt like a gel mask that dried like a peel. Only it doesn't peel off. I'm glad I tried the sample because I had been contemplating buying the full size for a very long time. This has completely changed my mind. Will I try it again? Maybe if I get another sample. But I probably won't be buying it on my own.

I have oily, acne prone skin that's starting to show some signs of age at 36. I tried a sample of this mask & I loved it so much that I immediately bought a jar at the store. It left my skin smooth, glowing & hydrated. It eliminated dry flaky skin, improved blemish spots, fine lines & smoothed pores. The only negative here is the high price for a 1 ounce jar. I was told at the cosmetics counter this makes a great overnight spot treatment for blemishes. I plan on using this 1-2x a week. I'm excited to try out the eye cream next.

I first learned of Tata Harper from Spirit Beauty Lounge. I like Tata's line. All of her products smell pretty wonderful and work very subtly and gently and are clean. This mask is great before a night out or a special occasion. It really will make your skin beautiful prior to any make up application. It really minimizes any pores and smooths the skin. I'm giving it only 4 stars only because of the price. I am willing to pay for wonderful clean products, but compared to others in the market I feel this $15-20 over its worth.

I received a sample of this Resurfacing Mask with a recent order. The sample has two applications (or maybe it's only supposed to be one and I didn't apply enough with each application) - regardless - it is simply wonderful. I have sensitive skin and so many products break my skin out or cause redness. This product not only left me with clean, clear skin - it really did act like a light peel! I'm buying it now and will definitely try more items from this line.
