good quality, product is as described
i’m a size 26/27 in pants and 5’6” 130 lbs, the small fit me well, a tad loose, if i wanted more of a formed fit i’d go with the xs. i like them because they can be dressed up or down.

These pants are not so much flair as wide leg all the way down and on my petite frame very unflattering

Unflattering front waistline
The fabric is great on these pants, good quality, so soft and smooth. It’s the design that’s off for me personally. Pants look awesome on the backside of the body, very flattering. It’s the front that’s weird. There is a very wide voke (not sure if that’s the right word for it) at the front waistline, then the deep pockets begin beneath that. This was just not flattering at all on my body type (rectangle). Likely these will look great on another body type. I’m 5’4” and these were below the ankle on me and hit at an awkward spot.

Unfortunately, I agree with the other reviewer who wrote that the waistline was not flattering at all. The waistband is really wide and with the way the pockets are designed, these were less than flattering. The pants accentuate your lower abdomen, highlighting that area of the midsection which isn’t ideal if you don’t have perfectly flat abs. Maybe they would be better in a knit material instead of a legging/spandex material.

not flattering cut
Like other reviewers, the way the waist and pockets lay, it doesn’t help how the belly looks. I have a pair similar from years ago and they actually help flatten the belly. Hopefully Zella/Nordstrom can go back to previous design that were good sellers.
