Renai Pencil Skirt

Strange fit. I started with a 6, then ordered a 4 and finally the 2 fit (I am not a 2!) and even so, it has decisively shaped hips, which was a little weird, but then, it’s oddly hard to walk in - like, restricting against the front of your lower legs. Standing still, it’s pretty great (in the right size) but unfortunately, I wanted this for work, and I have to actually walk for my job so will be returning all 3 :(

This is a nicely constructed, good quality leather skirt. However, it runs exceptionally large. I sized down from a 12 to an 8, which fits better but the hips on this are wide and pointy. It looks like the skirt has been stretched out on a hanger right where the designer wants much larger hips to be. Not flattering on my straighter legs at all. It’s also really not high waisted. If you have a curvy body and are average to shorter height, this will likely be beautiful on you. Sadly, my search for the perfect leather skirt continues.

Excellent quality skirt however, for someone that is just under 5'4 I was swimming in it. Also, I consistently wear a size 6 in dresses but between a 4 and 6 in a skirt. I ordered a 6, but a 2 would have been the best choice. Sadly, taking back as this is for tall girls only IMO.

Really impressed with the quality for the price, but I am very short waisted so it did not work for me when the hips went out. Hopefully somebody else can re-buy this on sale!

I’m always a size 8 and had to reorder in a 6. Unfortunately, the waist is still so wide. Probably going to return because altering leather isn’t easy.
