What it is: An overnight balm that uses enzymatically activated oils that penetrate deep into the walls of the skin cells to nourish skin from within.
What it does: It also helps stimulate lipid production to help skin help itself. Sensitive skin types have a weak protective barrier and get more damaged than other skin types during the day. At night, cell turnover can double. This is the best time to deeply feed and repair the skin. This balm uses lipids of activated oils from olive, almond, borage and linseed that are easily absorbed into the skin to intensely nourish skin while you sleep and support skin's own regenerative process. It features a chamomile scent, too.
How to use: At night, use your fingertips to melt the balm onto your face and gently massage until absorbed.

Comforting
This balm is so comforting if your skin is feeling parched, sore or sensitive. I find it very gentle and I can have sensitive skin. I have other night products that are more anti wrinkle targeted but this is great for those times when your skin need protection and I find even though it isn't the target it does help refine via hydration!

Odd texture and smell
Didn't like this product, I thought that it would feel really nourishing and rich, but in fact it had quite a weird finish to it, almost velvety in the same way that a primer would be, and didn't seem to sink into my skin, but sat on the surface.
It also had a bit of an odd smell in my opinion, nothing offensive, kind of like play dough, I was hoping in an overnight balm it would have a calming/soothing smell like Lavender/Neroli/Geranium or something.

Comforting

Fave cleansing balm
This is the kind of product I reach for when my skin feels stressed or a bit angry. It’s thick but melts down into more of an oil and leaves my skin feeling really nourished by morning. A little goes a long way, and it helps calm down redness without clogging anything.

Perfect for dry skin
I found this balm a bit heavy to use on my face so I use it mostly on my elbows which are extremely dry. I use it every night and have seen a huge difference to the condition of my elbows. They are very moisturised and soft. The balm sinks in but does feel a bit greasy at first. It also doesn’t have a scent which is good.

Favourite product
This balm is my favourite product I’ve ever used. I put a little on at night and my skin isn’t as red and is really moisturised by morning. People have complimented me at how clear my skin is and it feels great. I’m so sad that REN is closing and I will definitely be stocking up!
