Gable Wool Blend Overcoat

Glad we tried on in store because the L and XL in black and stone were cut almost the exact same. We got the XL in black for my husband’s work wardrobe and will add either stone melange or camel depending on how this one holds up. Very nice clean lines and quality fabric on first impression.

Pulling the overcoat out of the bag to reveal the color of the fabric, I was pleased. However, as my eye darted around to take in the whole coat, my initial impression was that the quality of the fabric left a lot to be desired. I don't think it helped that the coat was creased and wrinkled (understandably) from being shipped. I really wanted to like this overcoat but I ultimately could not get past my disappointment in the quality. While I do love the look of Reiss, the quality can be a bit less consistent from piece to piece.

This is a good coat. True to size but sleeves are a bit long. Beautiful fit. I recommend buy it elsewhere, not at Nordstrom because they shipped me a piece of dirty rag, unbelievable. Read my reviews on the web. This is how Nordstrom treats its loyal customer for 3 decades. I am avoiding the dirty Nordstrom now.
