So nice in person!
I'm 5'6" with an athletic body type (read: quads) and the size 28 fits me perfectly! They look really high quality and lovely in person. The one thing to note is I very much needed to get these hemmed. Even with platform boots they bunch at the bottom for my height.

Usually wear a size 28 and a 30 still wouldn’t do it . Super narrow at hips, Had to return. Other than that, the quality was superb

Narrow in hips
Great quality, just not right for my body type. Very straight and slim through hips, so not for curvy girls. I even tried going up a size but the hips were still too slim and then the waist was too big.

Best jeans but read this before buying
I have both of these jeans, but be aware before buying!! The maldives pair is the regular wide leg, and they are probably around 34" inseam, but the lighter wash is incorrectly labeled on this site. They're the "cropped" version, which are essentially just regular length that doesnt need to be tailored. Two of my favorite jeans, just be aware before buying!

Cutest fabric, some construction issue.
Super cute fabric (wide leg cacao pinstripe), but something about the construction leaves one desiring more. Too. much fabric at the front rise, which leads to some pooching and creasing around the pantyline area. Tried buying size 26 and 28, (normal size is 26 in reformation, 27 in other brands). Generally, size 26 is perfect since my waist is 25. This leaves an inch of fabric so that I can comfortably bend, etc. The waistband is pretty roomy, but I felt sizing down to a 25 might give me camel toe as the size 26 was already pretty snug in the camel toe area. I thought maybe sizing up might fix the problem so I bought a 28. Definitely made the pooch and creasing worse. So I'm going to return the 28. You definitely want the waistband of this as snug as possible (without sizing down too much -camel toe!) so I think the best solution is to keep the 26, wear it with a belt so that the waistband stays high and pulls up the rise from drooping around the thigh creases. For reference, I'm 5 foot 8 (rounding a little down) and my measurements are 35, 25, 36 with an inseam of 32 (crotch to floor, not ankle). I weigh 125 pounds on average. The pants have a 34 inseam so I need to wear heels to keep it from dragging hem. (Also, when wearing heels your hips get pushed forward which helps with the whole pantyline crease thing). I'm assuming washing it will shrink it a half inch - inch over time.

Color not as it seems
I bought the cacao pinstripe version online and looking at it in person, it actually looks like a dark grey with pinstripe to me (and everyone I asked to make sure my eyes weren’t off.) Nothing at all like the photo and I was definitely excited to have a more chocolate brown pinstripe denim in my wardrobe. The fit is awesome and true to size but I will need alterations as they are way too long for me at 5’4”. These are very great pants and very comfortable so I will be keeping these even though the color was unexpected
