Fantino Recycled Cashmere Blend Cardigan

Love reformation but this was a miss for me. Not soft like their other cashmere - more wool itchy like. I also recommend sizing down. I ordered my normal size medium and I’m typically size 8-10. I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant and was swimming in this!! Maybe if it was cheaper I’d consider finding my right size but for $300 this did not live up to the quality I was expecting.

I was Pleasantly surprised by the weight of this knit because from the photos it looks fairly thin. However, it does run large. I’m 5’7, 130lbs and the size small fits me more like the larger end of a size medium. Also, the blend of recycled and new cashmere feels more like Merino wool, so it’s definitely not as soft as some better cashmeres. If you’re sensitive to wool then this one might bother you. Not sure if I’ll return it or try to exchange for a smaller size, but at this price point I probably will.

For reference I’m 5’2 150# and I bought an extra large. I wanted an oversized look, it fits in a similar way to how it fits on the model. I could wear a medium to an extra large it really depends on how you want it to look. I love this sweater very soft and the color is perfect. I plan to wear with the bottom buttons undone with skirts and jeans this fall. Sleeves go to the tips of my fingers.

I purchased this for a trip, it kept me warm on the plane. After my trip, it felt like it lost its shape and stretched out. The sleeves are so wide, which make it kind of annoying at times, especially if you are layering a long sleeve shirt. However, I loved the color and the rib. I got the compost color way. I am usually a size 8 or large in Ref, but I sized down to a small. I am debating on whether or not to take it back, it's definitely cute, but I am not sure worth it for the price.
