What it is: A gentle exfoliating scrub that removes dead skin cells to leave your complexion looking radiant and feeling smooth.
What it does: Formulated to purify and exfoliate skin, this scrub is made with avena sativa and chamomile flower extract to smooth, soothe and refresh. Skin's texture is improved instantly and over time.
How to use: Place a small amount onto your fingertips and gently massage onto damp skin. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Use one or two times per week.

My fav LM product
I’ve been using this product for years and it was time again to “stock up”. I know that the polish now had a fragrance added and in reading previous reviews, this worried me. The original product was fragrance free. So, it was with some trepidation that I opened my new tube and I must say that I love it! This surprised me because I would call myself as someone sensitive to fragrances. The texture is exactly the same as before (I compared) but with a soft fragrance added. It’s very nice and does not linger. Whew! Love it! This is my favorite item in the LM line.

Overpowering Perfume
I have used the original Face Polish for 15 years and loved it. Laura Mercier discontinued it and put this out as a replacement. It seems to be essentially the same product with one glaring difference, it has an extremely strong perfume line fragrance! First off, adding fragrance to a skin care product is shocking because it causes sensitivity. Second, it is so strong, it’s like bathing in a bottle of perfume. I had to wash my face three times with my regular face wash after and still could smell it. Really disappointed. Laura Mercier changed several products this year for the worse. I won’t be buying her products or make up any longer.

Heavy Fragrance!!
The new formulation of this "face polish" is inferior to the original formula. The new formula is very heavily fragranced to point that I thought perhaps I had received a defective tube!
the grains in this new formula are not as small and smooth so it's not as gentle. Overall, I am searching for a better option but also hoping that they correct the problems with this new formula. why did Laura Mercier have to mess with a good thing?

Formula was changed. It is not the same product. The perfume scent is so overpowering. So disappointed. It used to be my favorite scrub. If it ain’t broke... don’t fix it.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
What happened to the old flawless skin polish. So sad this is the replacement.
Still a great product but the old was perfection.
Do not love this new scent it reminds me of my grandmas old rose soap.

I don't understand the change
I've used the old refining creme polish for years and it was perfect! I don't understand why they would put out this inferior product. It doesn't feel the same and most importantly it doesn't smell the same. It's just a disappointment. Even if it was my first time using this I could not recommend it because of the smell.
