Came scuffed up, dull odd brown.
These flip flops came pretty scuffed up which tells me they will look worn from the get go. They have a weird layered sole that looks like one layer is a plastic of some variety. They have zero sheen and are a bit dull in appearance. I wanted to check them out before I ordered the kiwi brand. Although less expensive I think they will be going back. Also, they are on sale and cheaper directly through the company.
