Harriet Boot

I have been through several try on pairs of red wings in different styles trying to find the one that fits me best. Harriet might be the winner. I ordered them in mahogany which is beautiful in size 8. I am usually a size 8 although sometimes have to size up for boots or down for heels. I tried these on with thin socks and they were just too tight especially in the toe box, and I felt the arch hit me too far back on the foot to be comfortable. I have read that they will stretch but I like a bit more wiggle room for my toes and I like the option of putting an insole in to support my high arches. If you like a tiny bit of room to support even an athletic sock or be able to wiggle toes with ease, I would go up half a size. They are obviously high quality and don’t seem like the break in period will be bad.

I love how solid these boots feel but look super cute with dresses, jeans, everything! I first wore these around the house for a bit because if I'm going to spend this much money on a pair of boots I better like them! Not going to lie, I was a bit hesitant because they had a bit of a weird arch in them, but as I had them on they just kept molding to my feet. Decided to just take them out for a walk (uphill, downhill, sidewalk) and they were amazing. Looking forward to wearing these in the rainy streets of London. Still haven't decided if I need to totally waterproof them, but they feel like they will last a lifetime.

I ordered these in black and pecan, and the boots are absolutely beautiful and so well made. The soles are hefty and the leather is soft and pretty. But unfortunately the fit is way off. I am a true size 8.5, and these were super tight and small. The black felt even smaller and I could barely get my feet in them and it felt like the heel fit even smaller (and I have narrow feet). Unfortunately these will have to go back.

My wife loves them. They’re amazing. She gets tons of compliments. I don’t know how they fit and how they feel.

Stunning boots but they are SO narrow, and the toe is very tapered. Recommend sizing up and/or ordering wide option.

I got the Chelsea's as a birthday present. I got my normal size, and they fit great. I will say, if you do have thicker legs, they are definitely going to be tight at first around your ankle and lower calf area. I have thicker legs, and they are tight on me. I wear thick socks to help break that area in. They fit true to size, so I don't necessarily recommend going a size up unless you have wider feet. Other than that, they are fantastic. I don't feel like I am wearing heels at all. These are going to be my new everyday shoe.
