Red 0 Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick

I am a very dry lip girly - no matter now much water I drink, how much lip balm I apply or how much I exfoliate and oil my lips, they are just always dry A big problem I have with lipsticks in general, especially more 'matte' ones (i.e not with a high gloss finish) Is that they really really dry out my lips, and cling to any dry patches and make them look worse This is the only lipstick Is one of the only lipsticks that I own that this doesn't happen to me with. I really like that it's very slim too, because it keeps application really precise and neat, even after a lot of uses. The reason I only gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that it isn't the most long lasting, but as long as you're happy to reapply through the day thats a non - issue. The fact that it's refillable is a huge bonus as it will make repurchasing a little cheaper too!

The packaging is absolutely. I love dung beetles so it really spoke to me. Lovely colour and texture that really makes it feel like a luxury product. I do think it smudges quite easily, but otherwise very happy. It actually comes off pretty easily and cleanly with makeup remover, which I was happy about!

I thought I wasn't a red lipstick person, turns out I just needed the right one! I tried it on friends too, and I really think it can suit many skin tones. It's so comfortable to wear and is long-lasting. I love it and I think it suits both day and night, more casual and more elegant wear. It's not transfer-proof though, but you can't really expect it to be if it's comfortable to wear. Just a word of caution - if you take it in your carry-on to the plane, take it outside the bag with the liquids at the security check! Because of the shape, they got suspicious and checked my bag...

The packaging for this lipstick is amazing - so pretty, and easy to use. The lipstick in it is a gorgeous red colour - I am fair-skinned with dark hair and I like the glamorous, but not over the top look that this gives. It is also easy to smudge out a bit for slightly blurred edges, which I like. The only downside is that it is expensive for the amount of lipstick in the tube.

Hourglass's products are my go to make up products, especially because not only are they high quality, but they are a cruelty free brand. I love that this lipstick is vegan. The color is amazing, it is very well pigmented, you only need to apply it once, you do not need hundred layers. Love it!
