Yep! I have the same issue with mine. The strap does not line up when snapped to make it the strap smaller. The snap buttons DO align when you make it a little bigger though. So for crossbody it’s fine. As a shoulder bag, not aligned.

Maybe I got a bad purse, but the strap has a large uneven hump that does not seem to line up no matter the adjustment. The bag is pretty and otherwise looks to be good quality. It is also larger than I expected looking at the photo.

I do like the bag, however, it was delivered in a plastic bag with no box or stuffing. It was smashed. Although it was not super expensive, it was not cheap. I would think it would have been packaged better for delivery to help hold its shape. Seems as though it would have been packaged better and up to Nordstrom standards for customer service.

This bag size is perfect for an everyday crossbody bag. Not too big or small, I’m able to fit in all my essentials, phone, small change purse/wallet, sunglasses, lotion, and more, and it’s zipped, or buttoned. There is no defect when shortening the strap, (see picture), make sure the strap is turned so the back of the snaps are not facing outwards.

Purchased brown suede during sale. This is so lush that I would be happy to pay full price. Roomy. Straps are very versatile. Highly recommend. These are a nice match to the Sam Edelman loafers offered in the anniversary sale.

I returned oxblood purchased during sale as "didn't like color", decided whipstitching too horsey, barely tried on and ordered cream on a whim when it went on sale again end of August. Warm Cream matched 1 pair of my shoes and blended with 5 other neutral colored shoes in closet including camel and hard-to-match mink/mushroom. After watching video, learned that strap was adjustable - important for 5'4" height and could even be removed entirely for a clutch. Makes a nice looking clutch if you tuck in end rings but long leather trim a little too long so may replace with shorter xtra pieces that come with bag. Pebbled leather makes it more versatile for day into night. Besides too long trim the only other downside I see is zipper hard to start if pull all the way into corner but have plenty of room to get stuff in and out of 11" zipper if you don't take pull all the way. A keeper and might look at other colors.
