ReactX Pegasus Trail 5 Running Shoe (Men)

As a big fun of Nike’s Pegasus series for many years, I was immediately attracted to these shoes the moment I laid eyes on them i.e., at the Sommerset Mall Nordstrom location. And for those that like that eye-popping / flashy look, I’d highly recommend the Smokey Blue/ Light Silver which is also what I got (another cool bonus was they were on sale for 33% off the original MRP of $150 so I only paid $112 total inclusive of taxes - and so it didn’t take much to persuade me). I also particularly liked that these shoes run higher off the ground to give you added protection when traversing ragged terrain - and so a good analogy w/b comparing an SUV vs Sedan (so if you don’t mind adding a few inches to your height, these shoes will make you stand much taller than say compared to the On-Cloud Brand which normally run a lot lower to the ground). In terms of the Cons, my only beef with these shoes is the top upper layer of the foot is made from Nike’s softer synthetic material which doesn’t offer much in terms of protection and leaves your foot feeling somewhat exposed during the outdoors. But since I actually don’t intend to traverse the backwoods in them, for me that’s a nothing factor and besides, the toes are brilliantly protected by Nike’s harder synthetic material for extra protection during the outdoors. Overall I’d say these shoes are a solid 4.6 out of 5.
