rb Miramar Wide Leg Cotton Terry Sweatpant Jeans

I was so skeptical that these would look like jeans I went to the store to try on. They only had 1 pair left, on a mannequin and it happened to be a medium which is my size. Even as I was approaching the mannequin I wasn't sure if they were the Miramar or real jeans. I must note something very important, these pants are very long, and I'm only 5' 4" so it was hanging SEVERAL inches in the store even pulling up as high as I could. I purposely dried them on high heat and they shrunk A LOT which was perfect for me but for taller folks be careful with washing/drying! Photo is post-shrinking.

This is my third purchase of the Trompe L’Oeil Jean from Rag & Bone! The first purchase of the jogger I was choking on the price, but I loved them so much that I bought another color! They are like wearing stretch pants, but with style. I had an MRI and the technician thought the printed button was metal. I purchased this new pant with the wide leg and it’s absolute perfection. It says the rise is 11 inches but it’s actually 13 1/2” inches on the extra large. The length is 32” and just long enough for flats! I would consider myself an extra extra large now as I gained weight, but these look absolutely like the right fit on me so I would say they were a bit on the large size definitely bigger than the jogger.

After wanting these jeans for over a year but resisting because of the price tag, I finally ordered them just to see what all the buzz was about. I’m a size 14 but after reading the reviews and looking at the size charts, I ordered a L and an XL to compare. The XL was too big in the butt and the crotch but comfier in the waist when worn low-slung. Decided to keep the L since they fit best overall. I will hand wash in cold/lay flat to dry and pray they don’t shrink in length because they’re perfect for my 5’7” frame. All that being said, I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of trendy, wide-legged jeans for a couple months now and they all made me look like a clown. These are lightweight, have a fabulous drape, and the legs are just wide enough for that relaxed, baggy vibe I was going for. They ABSOLUTELY look like actual jeans but are ridiculously comfy 😳 Purchased the Lenox color.

I love these oh-so-much. SIZE INFO: - I'm a solid size Medium in most bottoms (size 6-8 in Lululemon leggings / size 28-29 in Mother jeans) and I went with a SMALL in the Miramar wide-leg. - I ordered both S and M to try, and the medium were very unflattering w/ a much higher rise - happily kept the S. - FYI - my measurements = I'm 5'6, 28" waist, 40" hips (lots of booty) / long legs (for my height), slimmer / toned legs. - They're PERFECTLY roomy, rise hits just under my belly button (I have a v. short torso) and they're long enough for my 32" inseam (can wear w/ both sneakers AND 2.5" Chelsea booties w/o looking like I'm wearing high-waters). WEARABILITY: - Honestly, I thought they'd be comfy but wildly unflattering, but I was thankfully wrong! - I wear them to work with a nicer sweater or blazer (I'm a lawyer but my firm leans very casual!), as well as dressed down for errands, etc. - I've worn them like 8 times since I got them a few weeks ago so cost per wear is working out for me!

I went back and forth over ordering these. They’re expensive, and I’m very short. But I read where they might shrink in the dryer (it says air dry, no dryer in instructions). Sooo-I washed them, then dried them in increments on low heat, and the length is perfect. They definitely shrink if you dry them. So don’t dry them if they fit fine. I love them and am very happy I got them
