Ray Ban. 'Nough said.
Several years ago, I bought Ray Ban's on sale I loved them, but then they fell off my head & I stepped on them. I could never get them straight after that & all attempts to send them back to Ray Ban for repair were in vain! I can remember when Ray Ban was known for replacing or repairing for free, but not anymore. Finally caved. Note to self-don't try to wear them on top of your head as they're heavy & fall off easily.

I ordered three pairs of these glasses just to be sure there wasn't an error. These Ray Bans are not gray in any light of day. They're black and they have a dark green lens. I was hoping they were dark Gray but nope I'm returning all three. I'm not sure why you would call them dark gray when these glasses are almost black. I wear Ray-Bans and have for the last so I don't know 12 15 years these are the darkest pair of frames I have ever seen

well- made, good sun protection
I needed quality sunglasses after moving to a hot, sunny climate. The frame is dark tortoiseshell (brown-black tones), with solid- feeling hinges and medium dark gray lenses. The lens modulate the sunlight well in CO, without distortion. The shape and heft are comfortable on my round face/nose and the classic dimensions (not oversized) will look good on many faces and skin tones. I bought at Anniversary sale.

Stylish and sporty!
I bought these glasses as a replacement to a similar pair that were 12 years old. I was ready for a new pair! These are even better. They have a darker tortoise-shell frame and a sturdy. Very comfortable and classic. So far, so good!
